In the period from 22 to 24 November 2010 the Public Chamber of Russian Federation will hold the international conference “Modernization and Innovative Development: global partnership” in the framework of the project “Investigating Russia”.

The conference will consist of three major workshops:

• Human rights, Freedoms and Civil society in Russia

In the framework of this workshop there are supposed to be meetings and round-table discussions with the famous representatives of various civil institutions in Russia (the members of Public Chamber of Russian Federation, human rights activists, media representatives and expert community).

• Modernization and innovative economic development of Russia

In the framework of this workshop the participants will have the possibility to discuss the recent trends and directions of development of innovative industries in Russia with the representatives of business community and the leaders of high-tech clusters such as Innovation Centre in Skolkovo. To ask the questions and point to shortcomings.

• Political system in Russia

In the framework of this workshop the participants will have the opportunity to communicate directly with the famous Russian politicians, representatives of State Duma fractions, and discuss in an open dialogue the promising directions of Russian-European relationship development.
